24 weeks & 6 days

We had a regular OB checkup today. It went great. We got to hear Presley's heartbeat and she kicked the little doppler thing. It was great. She kept moving to get away from the doppler. She doesn't really like to feel anything pressing on her current home. She even tried to kicked off Jamie's hand last night. It made me laugh and made her move even more. Sadly, she already seems like a brat. Jamie says she's acting like me already. She's already in princess mode and she knows she can already get away with anything. She stole our hearts a long long time ago.

Anyway, we finally picked out Presley's baby bedding. I am so happy with the bedding we picked out. I wanted something modern but I couldn't find anything here in town that was girly and modern. So, we bought this lovely bedding called Tropical Punch.

Welp, I need to finish my enchiladas. Jamie is in shift work right now and I will have to bring him dinner in a little bit. :)

Another duty day.

I hate freaking duty days. They seem pointless to me but whatever. It's almost 7am and I don't really want to go back to sleep. I know that I need to but I just don't want to. I cannot sleep when Jamie isn't here so tonight it's going to suck. Maybe if I stay up all day then I can sleep normally tonight. I doubt it. Last duty day Jamie took me on the boat. It was nice being there with him for almost three hours. We were so bored because there was simply nothing to do and he kept falling asleep in my lap. For some reason, he always acts like we are just falling in love whenever I go somewhere like that. I'm complaining. It's cute to hear and see him act the same way he acted when we first started dating. Everything is all about me whenever I've gone down to the boat or submarine. I do love the submarine a lot more. The boat scares me and women actually work on it. I don't really like women and I don't think they should be in the military at all. They cause a lot of problems and when they die for their country people treat it like a surprise. They freak out way more than when a man dies for his country. Maybe if you thought she was too girlie...she shouldn't have joined. BAH! So lame. Haha.

Anyway- onto baby stuff.

Not much has been going on with the baby. She's very active and I'm loving every single minute of it. I can provoke her into moving for me. Well, not all of the time. Haha. Most of the time I can make her kick or turn. Jamie loves feeling her kick too. He said that it isn't that important to him since he knows she's okay but I know he loves feeling her little pokes. It's simply amazing.

We haven't bought anything for my wee little Presley. Well, we bought ONE freaking outfit. It's so cute but I want to find some crib bedding that I love. Jamie keeps telling me to not be cheap but I'm trying to save money where I can. After all, we aren't stateside and my family isn't buying us the things they would if we were in Georgia. My aunt wants me to have all of her baby stuff from her son that is only 11 months old but she cannot ship it. Plus, we are scared that it won't get out here. We have had trouble with the postal service. We've only been here for 6 months and we haven't gotten three things that we ordered. It misses me off and I'm going to have to request my money back on some items. It sucks badly. That's another reason why I don't want to buy bedding over the internet and try to have them send it out here. We've gotten everything from family (so far) but some stuff we ordered offline didn't make it to us. (Something Boston Terrier from the Danbury Mint, Christmas cards from CafePress and a book from Amazon) It seems silly that they would steal those things but hey, the people out here hate us (military).

My mom sent a package to me on New Year's Eve. It should be here today. I will be so pissed off if it doesn't get out here. She bought a lot of stuff AND put family pictures in that box. Not copies of family pictures so these are the ONLY ones I can have. *sigh* I know it will get out here. As long as it doesn't have a label from a company on it, they won't steal it.

Anywho, I'm off to bed.
